At the Neighborhood Care Team Supported Housing program, Anita is responsible for all financial and programmatic aspects of the organization-including housing policy development and compliance with public and private reporting requirements. Anita brings more than twenty-five year experience in real estate management, brokerage and real estate business ownership.
Prior to her many positions at the Neighborhood Care Team, Inc., she was the sole proprietor of a Real Estate Management and Consulting firm, ADJ Company which managed the largest privately owned cooperative complex in New York City. Winner of the NY Habitat Finance Award in Property Management, she spearheaded comprehensive fiscal and operations policies that improved performance and led to greater shareholder satisfaction and engagement in the complex’ overall operations.
She went on to develop a five –year self-management plan for the
housing corporation’ Board of Directors which the housing corporation continues to follow today. These self-management housing strategies are the core of many of the agency’ operational policies for the supportive housing programs.
Ms. Johnson is a family member, advocate for the mentally ill, and a Who’s Who of Entrepreneurs. She is committed to issues surrounding underserved populations and educating public and private housing organizations in the importance of controlling and self-managing their most valuable assets – their homes.
As the Senior Case Manager, Ms. Murray conducts initial intake interviews for all community care SPOA applicants and assists the referring agents in completing the list of additional requests and paperwork required for final admission decisions. Ms. Murray is also the voice on the “emergency contact phone” for all residents
calling the line after 5PM on weekdays and all day weekends for consumers living
in the Supported housing program that may require emergency assistance and/or
support.
For twenty years prior to joining the Neighborhood Care Team, Inc., Ms. Murray
worked at the New York County District Attorney’s Office in the Criminal Court,
Supreme Court and the Grand Jury Unit(s).
A graduate of John Jay College of
Criminal Justice, Antoinette offers a wealth of knowledge in police science to the case management team. She is instrumental in assisting consumers who may have criminal justice histories that require resolution and/or dissolution prior to obtaining employment and enrollment in alternate government housing.
She also acts as an advocate for consumers in accessing additional social service benefits and/or housing enhancements. Ms. Murray also lends her time as a volunteer for local Queens organizations servicing homeless individuals and families.
Mr. Wong is our newest Case Manager. He is a graduate of the City University of New York, Hunter College.
Joseph's background includes experience in direct patient care and as respite care provider.
He is currently training with Ms. Murray, our Senior Case Manager.
